Here’s a list of some noteworthy aviation events that will be held in Southern California during 2014. I can’t go to the Cable Airshow due to an obligation and I think I’ll have to choose MCAS Miramar or Catalina, but I don’t plan to miss any of the others.

• Planes of Fame Airshow, Chino – May 3-4
• Wings of Freedom tour, Lyon Air Museum, OC Airport – May 7-12
• AirShow San Diego, Gillespie Field  – June 7-8
• Wings Over Camarillo – August 23-24
• MCAS Miramar Airshow – October 3-5
• Catalina Airshow & Festival – October 4-5
